Is there any chance, that owners of GOG version will receive the free Steam key?

Also I read that there is no plans to release the game on Steam. What's changed?

I cared about owning the game on Steam. I cared about my friends list, the play time statistic and the Steam achievements, think about that what you will. I would have paid 30% more to own it on Steam in order to counteract Valve's cut. But I don't care to pay double and I don't care to play it twice in such a short amount of time. Go to hell.
I am really disappointed. There was no sign that thronebreaker will released on steam, so I bought the game on gog.com. I also take care of steam game list, friends, and achivements.
gog.com should give thronebreaker steam key to owners of GOG version.

The image is from thronebreaker promotion site of gog.com, which shows that thronebreaker will only released on gog.com

I am upset that I can't earn the Gwent cards in the Steam version. I may refund and buy here. Had I known this I would have bought here.
Yes, I just saw this pop up on Steam as well and I'm rather disappointed to put it mildly.

I usually buy my games on Steam as they have a friendlier currency exchange rate for me, but I decided to go ahead with purchasing on GOG because their newsletters kept claiming that Thronebreaker would only be on GOG. And now I see it on Steam at half the price I paid on GOG post-currency conversion with the only "exclusives" that you get on GOG being GWENT drops.

The latter has no incentive for me whatsoever, so if I had known, I would have paid on Steam instead just to not be bothered by GWENT paraphernalia. If this happened on Steam, I could at least get a refund, but with GOG's policy, that's not going to happen for me. :\

Man. I don't even know anymore. I've just been feeling more and more disillusioned with GOG nowadays, and this might very well be the last nail in the coffin for me.
Any plans on enlisting it on gog connect?

Same with me first with the bad taste joke on twitter and 0 real apology, now this, really disappointed where things are going for gog and cdprojekt. They are slowly transforming into bethesda abd people will praise them anyways, im just dissapointed, even though i dont really care now for them anyways.

Sorry for bad english.
Not only it's on steam, but it's cheaper... 26 euros for me, 30 here...

How do you hope I acknowledge this?

It is not 30 Euros here. It's the same price in GBP. In Euros, it's only 0.20 difference (exchange rates?):
GOG 26.09
Steam 25.89

You're right : tired from work, it was in $ not euros....

;_;

Pretty dirty move... hook people in to thinking it will only be GOG on PC, then releasing on Steam? Wow... they should give everyone who bought on GOG a code to redeem on Steam, but... somehow I can't see that happening cause of fear people would just give them away to friends or sell, etc.
same thing here!

They lied to us !
only released on gog.com big big lie !!
last time buying on gog.com !

owners of GOG version should receive a free Steam key, absolutely!!!

Hickory: Bullshit.
Not every one as blind as you. Bad is bad, good is good. They made a good game, truth. But this time they did lost some of people's trust on GOG. By the way, the price of thronebreaker on steam is only 16 dollar in my country. I would like to support gog, but not like this.

I'm not blind. Nobody lied except the trolls like you slamming a product because it's now on another platform when the developer never said it would not be. Until you, or anybody else, can show a direct quote from the developer, stating that Thronebreaker would be exclusively on GOG for all time, you're spreading utter poop.
