Hello,

I noticed the problem mentioned in the subject (game starts with a white screen, music is playing and game cursor is shown) already with games like "Thea The Awakening" and "Tales from Candlekeep". And with "Gwent" it is the same. Already found out, that all the games use unity. And with Thea, there is the option to start "in GFX Direct mode". The developer says it is used "to bypass Unity engine feature which even not used causes some computers to crash". And with that option it works.

Is there any possibility to use "GFX Direct mode" with Thronebreaker?

Already tried to reinstall NVIDIA driver, so that's not the problem here.

Can someone help?

Thanks in advance!

Posted this one here again as a question. Didn't notice the question feature.

Unity games should be able to use the -force-gfx-direct command line argument. What it does is forces single threaded rendering on your GPU.
This fix worked for another unity game I had installed, but its not working for thronebreaker for some reason. Do I need to change anything with GOG to get this to work?

Yes, I used this one. But had the same problem as Acotas. It didn't work. So, do I need to change anything?
