So I just ran into an impossible problem because there's no way to cancel a deploy ability.

Standard combat.
Won the first round.
Start the second round.
Play a medic so I get a random ally back from the graveyard.
The random ally chosen was an arablist.
I cannot play the arbalist since there's no enemy for his deploy ability to hit. He can't go back into my hand since he came from the graveyard. I am literally just stuck in a loop with one card that can neither be used nor put down.

I don't know about anyone else, but considering this game was delayed for 2 years something like this seems like a fairly massive oversight.

You should be able to target an ally. Deploy abilities won't be triggered if there's no valid target on the board.
Yeah, you have to target an ally to finalise the ability. This is wrong. If no further appropriate targets are available the ability should be applied and any remaining charges should be removed.
