I like to get a pen and paper out to take note of what's left at a site for later use, but this is tedious.

I agree, it makes the game a tad more tedious and takes attetion away from the characters. I feel like I'm micromanaging locations more than anything else. Especially if resources get scarce.

ye agreed but you're forgetting the fact that others are also supposed to be scavenging for items (or at least it seems that way to me with the raids that you sometimes get ) so unless i'm wrong things like wood and what not will disappear

lol i had to write down what i needed to craft certain items on bits of cardboard, but it worked for me, obviously not as immersive, but i'm getting old and forgetful so anything is better than nothing , still it's a good game
