• GOG has joined the effort, so for the next 7 days, 100% of profits from the sale of an edition of the game or DLC will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
• If buying as a gift, you don't need the gift recipient's e-mail. You can enter your own e-mail address, then share the gift code via chat or whatever method you prefer.
• You can donate directly to the Ukrainian Red Cross. See the red button near the bottom for donations from outside Ukraine.
• If you already own the game and don't know anyone to gift it to, you can donate it to The Community Giveaway - GOG Edition Redux.

I bought the game for the Red Cross. I already had it on Steam but now DRM free!

I bought it yesterday about 22:00. I suppose that unfortunately doesn't count? Am i right? Can I do anything about it?

I don't know what time zone Twitter lists. What time and date do you see for the following tweets (at the bottom)?

• GOG You'd normally ask support about this sort of thing, but nowadays it takes them weeks to respond.

If you bought the game for yourself, for some piece of mind,
1. Buy it again as a gift. If you normally benefit from regional pricing, it won't be applied when buying this way.
2. Go to your order history and click the "Ask for Refund" link next to the other order. Then on the refund page choose to receive wallet funds. These never expire and can be used to buy other games on their own, or in combination with other payment methods.

I don't recommend asking for a wallet refund first, then waiting for it to come through. The refund page says wallet refunds are issued in 24 hours, but I've seen people on the forum say they're still waiting after 5 days and counting.

OK, Thank you for quick response. I don't have a Twitter, so it is little tricky, but I believe that GOG tweet is labeled 8:05 PM 24.2.2022 and 11 Bit Studios 6:46 PM with same date.
I never tryed to use gift code, I just sended those few times, so I have a question. Will be possible to redeem code, which i buy as a gift, for myself? I believe so, but just for curiosity.

That's not what I see, so it seems Twitter shows the date and time in your local time zone. That's the same time zone as Poland, where 11 Bit Studios and GOG are based. So you bought the game about 2 hours after the GOG announcement. It should be fine. Yes, provided that you don't already own the game. That's why in this case, the refund would have to go through first, so the game can be removed from your account.

Yesterday in Kiev they gave weapons to civilian population to "defend its country", without any documents, not checking if they are even sane people but I bet only scumbags came there because they already started shooting each other.
