Thanks :)

And congratulations to Ron Gilbert and the entire team. I really hope this thing sells like hotcakes.
Yes, please this.

Is a shame that the steam version has these features but not the one on gog. :/
Another voice here for cloud saves. I was very disappointed when I found myself away from my home computer and unable to play as I expected Thimbleweed would have cloud saves being a recent game.

Thanks a lot for your efforts :) Been playing Ron's games since forever!
Yes, cloud saves pls. Although i´m finishing the game.
Cloud saves would be nice Achivements really are gimmicky and unnecessary.
Cloud saves! Cloud saves! Cloud saves!
Thimbleweed Park is available on so many platforms and services now. (Win (Steam/GOG, etc...), Linux, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS, Android, etc...) There are achievements for nearly all the platforms/services that support achievements, except GOG Galaxy. Seems like a common occurrence for GOG to be a second-class citizen when it comes to them and whether or not one likes achievements or not, this is not a good trend to allow for a service wishing to compete with the rest.

RonGilbert "I hope to add GOG achievements, but we’re really busy with iOS/Android/PS4/Switch that I don’t have the time. Once all that is done, I’ll look at it. Could be a few months. GOG has a framework, very similar to Steams. It’s not hard to do, it’s just some work and a bunch of QA. When we have some free time we’ll do it. Cloud saves on GOG as well."

When they finaly do it I will buy it from here.

Thanks for posting this.

I backed the game on Kickstarter. Also I deleted my Steam profile a few months ago. Have been waiting for the full GOG Galaxy implementation ever since launch (see my initial post in this thread). This is my platform of choice and it's a shame to see so many devs treating GOG customers like they don't care.

On the plus side: Ron Gilbert seems to be an okay guy. And I understand that things sometimes have to wait or even be cancelled entirely. Not achievements for Thimbleweed Park though. Nope.

Agreed:

Cloud saves should be a priority!
Any news about this?

Yeanope. The official blog sometime, somewhere said, that they still wanted to add GOG Galaxy support as soon as they could make the time. Turns out this isn't a major priority (as usual ). Anyway, it might happen eventually.
Did not happen till now, what a shame...
