The game was released on Steam on May 9 for free, but it could be nice have this on GOG library
Word up.

It's also available on Epic Games Store.

Come on, GOG! Add this game to your library too! Why not?
Ron Gilbert said on his website the game will be here on GOG in a few short days. :)

That was a week ago, and bam, jack shit still.

But I don't see how GOG's pathetic present store front would even have a proper way of advertising it if they ever upload it.

Yes, that sucks. I hope the wait won't take forever, I'd rather play the GOG version, even though it would be so much easier to just give up and get it on Steam.

GOG doesn't deserve the loyalty. Then again, Steam deserves it even less. :|
Still nothing ... that was it for the weekend, I guess.

More than two weeks for GOG to upload a little extra.

Another 2 weeks later: Still nothing. No news, no announcement, nothing in upcoming games, no explanation regarding the delay.

Delores is *still* not on GOG. While I know these things take time and I believe Ron did upload the game, I'm not impressed with how long it's taking. Do you know what could be the holdup?

There were some complications. I am in contact with them now about resolving them upload issues.

Thanks a lot for this mini-game! I just wanted to check if the GOG release is still planned despite encountered issues?

Yes, it is still planned. GOG delayed it for a few days.

I quit caring after learning it requires Windows 10 and DirectX: Version 12. It won't work on my desktop nor my laptop. :(

Even so, I still hope it becomes available soon here on GOG for those of you who'll be able to play it.
The free mini-adventure is available now. But how do I install the .pkg-file?

You accidentally downloaded the Mac installer. Select Windows as seen in the attached screenshot.

Thanks for your quick reply. I just found out myself - d'oh!
I've downloaded the Windows installer now.
You think it is possible for GOG to ask the vendor to make it at least compatible with windows 8.1? After all Win8.1 is still supported.

This free game is a prototype for Ron's new game engine. The engine currently requires DirectX 12 on Windows so there is no Win7/8/8.1 version possible.

It may later be changed to support lower DirectX versions and other platforms too like Linux, but not for now.
WHERE is it available ... ??

/ never mind. Not installing Windows 10.
