did the patching process complete properly? did you try to install other patches or mods?

anyway, you should have a thief. log and crash.dmp files in your Thief folder, zip them up with winzip or 7zip, upload to mediafire or sendspace and post the link here.

Thanks for your reply

I checked all the stuff (VC++2008, install folder location, etc) out for TG
and installed TFix 1.17 b completely in Clean TG GOG version
I tried to run this game and get error message that Thief 2 Metal Age can not open
But there aren't crash.dmp in TG folder you said

i found just thief. log :

ahh, I think I know what's going on - you are probably using an asian localization of windows. check this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/238210/discussions/0/864973577856707063/

Wow it does work finally!
You are my gamelifesaver

By the way, It seem to be not different with original version
A frame of window (in stage 1) is same texture
Is it right? or should i edit something?
only some of the textures were updated, and the updates are only minor - don't expect any big differences. if you did not change any settings when installing TFix, all the new stuff should be installed and working. check the sky, if it's dynamic, everything should be ok. if you are still not sure, make a screenshot and post it here.

I figured it out that the sky in this game is changed dynamically

I'm so sorry about bothering you too much and Thank you!

yes, that is the new sky. as far as I can see, everything is working properly. if you want to see how the game looks without mods, you can rename the MODS folder in your Thief folder. the difference will not be overwhelming, but should be quite apparent.

I am really enjoying this game
Could you recommend any mods you really like?

all those which I like are already included in TFix.
