I just bought the Thief series package and installed Thief Gold and Thief 2.

Both are crashing right after the Intro Movie has finished playing.

I got Thief Gold to work by installing the TGFix.

But so far I didn't have any luck with Thief 2. Even the community patch 1.20 didn't help.

Is there any known problem with Windows 8.1?

Using a i940 and a GTX 680 (with 4 GB memory, which HAD be a problem with other older games).

Update: Fixed the problem myself using Tafferpatcher 2.12

This should really be linked up here in a sticky post...
it would be nice to have the crash.log - maybe this can be prevented.
