actually, it does, if you install the texture mods.

btw, as there has been an update to NewDark, I'll probably finally roll out TFix 1.14 this weekend.

That's strange then, because I installed all the visual mods including Orgy's Texture pack. This one specifically mentions walls, floors and principle materials in the world, yet I'm not seeing that. Just a handful of textures like the odd small door or weapon but everything else remains unaffected. The AI models of course are a vast improvment over the vanilla versions and the new skybox definitely works too.

Weird. It looks like something in my installation/system is preventing the use of some textures. I'll kepp experimenting once you've had a chance to repackage TFix. Maybe a problem with folder permissions or something.

1.14 is out, see the first post.
v1.14 does something odd. Screen kinda flips out and game ends up launching in secondary monitor. Never had this problem with dual monitors for vanilla or v1.13. Not a huge issue, if I disable the second monitor it launches just fine, but just obnoxious/curious behavior.
yeah, i'ts a NewDark 1.20 thing - the readme says:

Note to anyone with multiple GPUs or display devices:
Due to a bug fix the game may now end up using the "wrong" device (again), or rather the correct
device because it previously used the wrong. Go to the Video options menu and change the device
under "Hardware Driver". Alternatively edit "cam.cfg" and remove the line "d3d_driver_index"
to restore default device usage.

generally, multiple graphics card and monitors seem to cause issues - disabling them should solve the problems.

By default there was no d3d_driver_index line in cam.cfg. Adjusting the hardware driver setting put this line in. Whether it was 0, 1, or removed all together seemed to make no difference, it always launched on the secondary monitor. Oh well, know this isn't your bug. Thx.
I guess it's an extension of Boilpoint's comment, but I found changing the in-game Hardware Driver setting also made no difference in the monitor used. I have one GTX 660 running 3 monitors and the game defaulted to my #3 monitor. I disabled it via Win 7's "screen resolution" page and the game then chose the #2 monitor. Disabled that and it finally chose the #1 "main display" (the only one left).

Boilpoint are you also using an Nvidia card? I'm curious because I have a similar issue with pre-Windows POST/BIOS screens only showing on my #3 monitor, and if I physically disconnect that monitor then the screens show on the #2 monitor. Makes me wonder if it's the Nvidia card causing this. Asus support told me "Nowadays new ASUS GPU card could only output one display in the POST screen", which seems pretty lame considering my 2 year old non-Asus AMD Radeon 6670 didn't have this issue.
Running with an HD 5750, so prob not card specific.
added a secondary monitor just to test this - the game indeed booted up on the secondary, but after selecting the other output in the video options and restarting the game, the game started on the primary again and I did not encounter more issues.

maybe it's because my card has only two outputs (and none of them are displayport).
Not registered at ttlg, you know if DJ Riff is gonna update Tafferpatcher similarly any time soon? Would almost be nice if there was a similar stickied thread as this one for Tafferpatcher here on GoG, but I guess that's on him to make it.
probably - but TafferPatcher is a much more complicated beast when compared to TFix, so it may take a while.

Hey, I've got the game stuck on the second monitor.

Do you mind giving some steps on how to force it to the main monitor? I'm not sure what you mean by selected the output in video options.

Thanks
you need to go to the video options/choose hardware driver, select the correct output (two will be listed most probably, so select the other one), click done, and restart the game.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me :-/
disabling the secondary monitor should work as a workaround.
