Just starting playing Thief 1! Really enjoying it so far however, i noticed that walking forward (not running) is a bit slower then walking sideways. It it supposed to be like that?

As far as I can tell, yes. Kind of like in Diablo how your character moves faster moving diagonally. Kind of annoying, but what can you do?
