Does that patch in stickied thread fix it?

I didn't bother to run the game before installing that massive patch, if that helps.

Runs fine with no problems unless I get a little excited with my moss arrows.

PS: I run Vista Ultimate (64-bit) with an ATI video card.

Keep in mind the patch 'breaks' other things in game, but is a work in progress, and will be fixed in time.

while technically true, the proper wording would be "while fixing a great deal of bugs, compatibility, stability and other issues, and adding a lot of much needed new features, the new engine also introduces slight gameplay problems not present in the vanilla or ddfixed version of the game". most people are perfectly fine with this tradeoff.

going around the forum posting "it breaks uhh, things" is not a good idea.
