Trying to run this on a Mac, and getting the message "The Witcher Adventure Game.app can't be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed"?

The usual method of going into your Applications folder, right-clicking the "The Witcher Adventure Game.app" file, and selecting Open won't work. That'll actually launch the GOG Galaxy client instead, completely bypassing the dialog box that lets you give MacOS permission to run the game.

Here's the workaround:

What you need to do is right-click the "The Witcher Adventure Game.app" file and select "Show Package Contents". Then you want to navigate to Contents > Resources > game. You'll find another "The Witcher Adventure Game.app" file in there. Right-click that one and select "Open." It'll bypass GOG Galaxy completely, and allow you to grant MacOS permission to run the game. You only need to do this once.

Hopefully, GOG can figure out a better fix for this as Galaxy develops.
