Firstly the crash: I attempted to watch the tutorial video - the voice says 'tutorial' then up comes the message 'TWAG has stopped working'. That really helped! :3

So I reboot the game, no chance to watch it again just straight into it blind. I'm playing for nearly 2 hours - start a new turn, nothing works. I click on any action and nothing happens. There's a 'X' on the action I clicked to cancel it, and the red banner up the top says the action I'm doing, but no cards appear in the middle, I can't rest, I can't travel... nothing works!

Tried alt-tabbing out and in, tried looking at the other characters and going back... my game just hung itself and refused to progress.

I've contacted support, but I doubt that will do much considering how long this game's been in testing... has anyone had their game do this??

It hasn't crashed on me, but that glitch, ack... It's happened to me in two games in a row now, this last time so close to the end, too... (In fact, I found your post because I was hoping someone had a solution.)

The game freezes for me regularly, when I try to alt-tab out and back in. Sometimes it freezes while playing, too. I've identified the problem to be caused by other processes that are running in the background, because when I do a clean boot by only loading the essential MS processes and nothing else, the game never freezes. It might be EVGA PrecisionX that is causing the freeze, because when I close that process I haven't experienced a freeze, yet. However, I have only played a limited amount of time with EVGA PrecisionX closed, so I can't say for certain that it is caused by this. But it is certainly caused by a process running in the background.

To test it yourself, you could try to perform a clean boot and see whether the bug still happens. To see how that is done, follow this link (at the bottom of the page): http://www.gog.com/support/witcher_adventure_game/crashing_in_general
I have a hunch that it's something to do with the music when it's between tracks. Every time a track ends, the game hiccups like crazy and sometimes the next track won't start unless I alt-tab back in.

Alt-tab only works in windowed mode. Ctrl + left click when starting from the GOG launcher, then check the box next to windowed.

Of course it works in full screen... what are you talking about? I'm saying it didn't fix anything.

During the beta alt-tab would break the game in full screen mode. You could alt-tab back and forth but it would cause you to not be able to take another turn. From what you mentioned it sounded as though it might be the issue, but maybe I didn't understand your issue.

Ah I see. Alt-tabbing works fine, full screen and windowed. Sometimes, when the music doesn't load the next track and the game starts dropping in performance; I'll alt-tab out and in to start it up again. I was hoping that would fix the unresponsive game but it didn't.
