so after originally getting the sync error and saying i was over the 200mb limit i deleted some saves. i was only using like 12-14 i think originally.

it worked for a while but now i'm getting the error again but like i said in the title i just checked and my gamesaves folder is only 124mb so any reason why it wouldn't sync now? or should i just turn off sync altogether?

btw 200mb seems a little low when if the games you make have large save files. i was playing CP2077 when they made the switch from unlimited to 200mb but i don't remember it giving me any problems but maybe because i was having problems updating galaxy and the older version didn't have the save limit? idk.
ok, so i figured it out, when i go to load a save i have a ton of "auto saves" and "checkpoints". probably at least as many if not more than my manual saves. i deleted all of them and now it syncs. but why is it all of a sudden keeping so many auotsaves and checkpoints. i would think they would get deleted automatically after a certain point especially being there aren't any going back past a day or two.

also wondering if they are saved in the same "gamesaves" folder or somewhere else? i'm assuming it's the same one being now my folder is only 59.2mb. so if it is indeed where they're save, i guess it falls back to my original question of why wouldn't it snyc when it was 124mb when we're suppose to get 200mb?

i would appreciate any insight. also is this a user only forum or do cdpr monitor them? if not would it be worth it to contact them about this?

actually this is still not solved. my gamesaves folder is only 64mb but it's back to not syncing.

i guess GOG cloudsaves are just not worth it....?
You can check this link -> https://www.gog.com/account/cloud-saves/ and see how big is you cloud saves folder for the WItcher 3. I assume there is something else that gets uploded to the cloud that takes space. You can check the files and decide from there what to do. CDPR probably do not check these forums but they have their own now for every game I think. But this is a Galaxy issue anyway so not related to them.In general I would just disable the cloud saves while I play and maybe when you're done you can enable them to sync your final saves
