Goto Steam - Purchase The Witcher 3 - Click install

After installation Click PLAY

What the hell is going on? I downloaded the witcher 3 last night all set to go last night, Would the actual play button on gog galaxy show up ? NO

This morning 5 am here Gog Galaxy says 2 hours till release??? and the play button is still greyed out?

I knew i shouldnt of trusted this Gog galaxy and i can see from other posts that this is happening to alot of people..

I tried to run the game another way, started to comic book intro then black screen now wont run at all

what gives? FUMING

u have to DL the patch and run that then u can play

I can launch the game but as soon as I start a new game it crashes to the desktop. Everyone said forget steam GOG is the way to go. What a crock.

I already found and downloaded that, Even that patch is full of errors... this is fucking unbelievable

So , it wouldn't be your pc that's the problem would it? I guess everyone else s pcs must be messed up since we are able to play the game You weirdo!!

How about you making sure your video drivers are up to date? As for everyone else as you are laming. The only issues I have seen are because people don't know how to read or follow directions.

i might have a manual fix for you when you try to install the patch you will find something called "patch_log.txt" make sure that you have your patch file where it says error in that log and also the game files .

The Game works not for me too

i install it with GOG Galaxy, Play Button still grey

- yes i download the patch
- yes i got the newest nVidia Driver

when i download the patch manually and want to install it there stand that he dont find Witcher 3 on my Computer. I install it on D partition like all my games.

And now somebody says i have to download it again through the website and not with galaxy? good guys, i download with 1Mbit/s cause of my bad internet and have to download 26GB again cause u guys fails? great....rly great

Hmmn, we might have a similar problem here. But here is what I did. First of, I tried and finished downloading the GOG galaxy client and install all that crap. But when its time to play, the PLAY won't enable and it also fail to update the game so I said, fuq it, I uninstalled the game. I uninstalled GOG galaxy. Screw it, this GOG galaxy thing needs more work to be done in order to be [at par] STEAMish ok! So I went old, school, I downloaded the game via GOG.com downloader, yeah, I waited like another 6+ hours [no problem for me, I knew this gonna happen so I asked to have a day off at work hehehe] to get that 22GB and its patched and then installed the game from there. It went good. The game is played. GG

For some People, this still doesnt work.

In my case i've downloaded the game complete manualy from the start. installed it, the applied the patch and nothing works.

You all obviously run the witcher on 64bit system??

In my case yes. My Windows is 64bit

I downloaded the game last night, installed, and playing 6 hours now at ULTRA... No a single issue here.

yeah for some people it works, for others not.

biggest problem you all have here is using Galaxy, don't bother with it. Just use the GOG Downloader
