Bleed: Bahahaha that's what you get for trying to cheat. But you see how amazingly well they handled this exploit, now you gonna get your ass whopped and have fun in the process, or at least you should.

Just a tip though. Stop trying to accumulate gold, it get's increasingly useless as you progress with the story. By the end of it, you'll have a ton and nothing to do with it.
Heheh. I still have all the patches. I'll reinstall the game, get loaded up on cow hides THEN patch up to the final version!!! Long work around for a few thousand crowns, but I won't have any developer telling ME how to play my game!!!

darkness58ec: lol domestic cows are for milking and eating....
I attacked villagers and their animals just to "teach them lesson", because they were spitting on me. I had no idea domestic animals are sacred and protected by that secret boss. Well, lesson learned :)

In fact, that boss is actually helping me to punish all those rude villagers, hehe...

Anyway, I'm already in the other zone, maybe I'll come back later.

Ty again for reply (to my original question).
The Chort was installed to keep people from farming the cows for hides. In reality, they should have probably set it to spawn after the third time the cattle were killed, or only have the cows respawn on zone exit.
Funny solution but it would be easier to just have the cows dead after the first round and villagers reporting the issue to Nilfgaardian garrison. That would earn Geralt some trouble, would be more fun to go through, and less frustrating :P
Now that i remember, let me ask. Why the ?? monster? Cows were an EXCELLENT source for meat and milk (besides the money cheat). And on higher difficulties, in which meditation DOESN'T make your health full again, they were MANDATORY for survival. Because obviously, if you tried to farm other animals for food, especially ones able to attack you (damn those nasty wargs), you could end up dying gruesomely, instead of accumulating your happy food and drinks storage effortlessly...

About the money, though, there is a better trick (but for slow systems like mine, it is useless). Ride Roche, draw steel, go for hunting deer, rabbits and all manners of wildlife. Like cows, they drop leather, too. Sell to White Orchard Innkeeper as first priority (gives best price for food/drinks/pelts in the entire area, compared to other vendor/merchant types), then to others who would buy them (leaving the generic merchant vendor type for last preference, generic merchants try to fleece you in every deal they do).
I think you're confusing Roach with Vernon Roche.

Thanks for hints.

Btw, the White Orchard inkeeper just disappeared in my game. Maybe Chort ate her, who knows :)
