I need help, as I cannot complete the Witcher 3 installation. I picked up a physical copy yesterday, and installed it to D drive. Galaxy is installed to the same drive. Galaxy repeatedly stated that the installation had failed, and the client kept attempting to download the latest patch. It would stop around 10-20mbs. I would then the notification of the fail. So I uninstalled, re-installed to the same drive, and the game then downloaded the 22gb file. But it refuses to download the patch.

I should note that the play option is grayed out, as is the verify option, and game is set to 'Waiting for Release'. How hard is it to get the game to run when I have never had any issues with Steam?

Seriously, I have to edit the registry to get the game working? This is insane - can't Galaxy just work like every other client?

I remember how Steam worked in Beta, wasn't any different. Give it some time, it is an unfinished product you don't even have to use.
