As me and my son want to play this game each for ourselves, its possible to have more than one user in the game so that I can play my game, and my son can plays his?

You can save your game whenever you want, so as long both of you use "manual save" and respect each other savegames you are fine. The game won't allow two or more "profiles" at this moment, so you will able to see your son's savedgames and he will see yours.
