You may or may not be aware of these but they are pretty big. I was unaware of these bugs in previous versions so its possible they could have been around and I only noticed them until now.

1. When you fast-travel, meditate, load a saved game, or after some cutscenes, the bonus damage from red mutagens isn't properly calculated towards your overall sword damage unless you remove them and then place them back into the mutagen slots. You don't need to refresh the skills, just the mutagens.

-update- I guess this issue affects all mutagen types, and does not calculate the bonuses properly unless you refresh them.

2. Focus ability is bugged. Its the one ability in the entire game that actually works when its not placed into one of the skill slots. If you place it into a skill slot, depending on how many adrenaline points you generate in combat it actually lowers damage instead of increasing it. If you do not place Focus in a skill slot, then gaining adrenaline points gives you more damage. (based on the character-stats page)

This is based on the numbers that I'm looking at when I changed stuff around and looked at the character stats page. So either this stuff is bugged, or the character stats that is being displayed is bugged and wrong.

Either way, one thing or the other is bugged.

3. Just found another bug. Every time you load a save game, the red mutagens you're using need to be removed from the slots and then added back into the slots again for the damage to calculate properly.

sword damage calculation is bugged to hell. half of the sword related perks don't work at all. According to my cat school light armor perk I shoul dbe dealing critical damage with every hit ,while it scores from time to time and is far from 100% possibility.

that increases crit damage by 100% with 4 pieces of light gear, not chance. Only increases crit chance by 10% chance with 4 pieces, and that does work I can see it working in the character stats page. Piece of advice, get some assassin gloves as they are the only armor piece I've seen that adds crit and those gloves add an additional 10% crit chance. better than mastercrafted feline gloves.

4. Found another bug with it. If you meditate you also need to refresh the red mutagen slots afterwards, otherwise it doesn't get calculated.

5. I'm also seeing this red mutagen bug happen in cutscenes that transition you to different areas.

This is totally bugged lol.

Mutagen bug was here before 1.5. And its not only red mutagens, all of them are bugged

Im not talking about crafting either....
And the bug affect blue mutagens for sure, about green one im not sure.

I'll have to do more testing with the other ones then. I didn't see any changes in sign intensity before. I'll have to check again.
After loading the game, Sign Intensity is affected
This bug affects all mutagens. Every time you fast travel or load the game, it happens, and each time you must reequip your mutagens to get the correct value.

It's an old and annoying bug.

alright I edited my posts a bit to reflect this information.
In my tests attached skill bonuses still apply but the mutagen itself does not apply the bonus...
for example 2 greater red mutagens with 3 skills each after loading apply only 60% bonus if you reapply mutagens you get full 80%...
this bug affects blue and red mutagens for certain did not test with green...

This is a nasty bug indeed never noticed it before thx for the headsup (someone should report it on CDPR forums if its not already reported).

Yeah someone should report it over there if it hasn't been reported yet, or just for consistency report it again.

Unfortunately I'm still banned on their official forums regarding my opinion about the "graphics downgrade" when they were banning people for as little as sneezing the wrong way.
