Shelledfade: that increases crit damage by 100% with 4 pieces of light gear, not chance. Only increases crit chance by 10% chance with 4 pieces, and that does work I can see it working in the character stats page. Piece of advice, get some assassin gloves as they are the only armor piece I've seen that adds crit and those gloves add an additional 10% crit chance. better than mastercrafted feline gloves.
Yeah, man, you're right. Can you imagine, for 100+ hours of the gameplay I was sure it was 100% possibility and not damage. And I spent more than 10 minutes staring at the perk "tree". lol Even though I play the game in my native language...

The assassin gloves - year I wear them all the game and upgrade them as I level up. ^^

I can attest to the mutagen bug. It's the same for me - have to re-equip it every time. This game needed another several months of polishing...

on what char screen do u check wether the mutagens buff ur signs or not? i can only find the actual character screen (where u spend ur skill points) with the note in the bottom right of the screen telling me my sword dps and the sign bonus power, so i just tested ur bug by meditating for an hour and the sign bonus dmg was 116% before and after the meditation, no replacing needed.
press C in the inventory menu.

ok thx, i just fast traveled like 800 "footprints" dont know if it qualifies as long distance but the bug didnt happen, i had 448 dmg reduction from quen before and after the fast travel. when i take the mutagen away i have 228 dmg reduction, similar resultes with the other signs.
so this bug doesnt happen with my game, it is patch 1.05 too (i have no sword skills skilled so i cant tell u about it)

when i load the game i do have the bug, but only partially. my normal sign bonus is 116% but when i reload i have only 96% sign bonus dmg and i have to reequip the mutagens to get my full 116%.

Not only partially, that is just that bug. It affects mutagens only, not skills. So if you have 3 skills + mutagen = 40% increase of "something". After loading the game the bug doesnt count mutagen bonus and you have only 30%.
I've noticed some odd values regarding sword damage before but I was just too lazy to check. I've checked now and it definitely is bugged as hell. And I'm sure it was way before 1.05 because there were odd numbers from the begining.
That's a pretty big eff up CDP!!!
Someone should repost on CDPR forums... still broken in 1.06. :(
