I'm trying to install this on Windows 8 64-bit and each attempt hangs at the same place... 1% shown in the main installer and Microsoft Visual C++ install dialog displayed.

Tried copying all files from DVD to local disk and running install from there and same problem.

Any suggestions?

Download "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4" from Microsoft website (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679) and install it manually.


VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe (for Galaxy because it is 32 bit software)
VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe (for Witcher 3 because it is 64 bit game)
