Hi,

I have purchased Steam Controller but The Witcher 3 doesn't support it on GOG unlike Steam version. Is there any solution to fix this issue? Game doesn't recognise my controller instead, it still see as keyboard + mouse combination. The Witcher 3 is one of the most played game in my library and I can't use my controller properly.

Thanks.
I also have this issue. It would work fine if you could add the game as a Non-Steam game with the overlay as we could in the past but a recent update broke the ability to do this. I'm able to add my UPLAY and Origin games as non-steam games and use the controller fine but at the moment adding the GOG version of TW3 to steam doesn't work and so we can't use the controller. I'm hoping for this to be fixed as well

Sorry for this post, as it is not helpful. But I need to ask: how is the Steam controller?

I'm not a fan of it, it works well but the track pads take too much work, the controller also feels a bit large to me I wear size Large men's gloves so take that as a size comparison.

I've boxed mine up already after just a short use.

Well, that's not very encouraging. But, at least I now know.
So I just figured out how to get this working.

The way to do it is to:

1.) Add your GOG copy to Steam as a non-Steam game
2.) Enter Big Picture mode
3.) Select your newly added Witcher 3
4.) Go to "Manage Shortcut"
5.) Configure Controller
6.) Browse Configs
7.) Templates

Now select either Gamepad with High Precision/Aim or Gamepad with Camera Controls.

The High Precision mode still uses the right touchpad as a mouse, and supposedly this can cause some FPS problems for some people. If that happens you should use the Gamepad with Camera Controls template.

I did that, but for some reason the game doesn't recognize the analog stick and I am unable to move. I can look around, casts signs, navigate the menu.. but I can't move.
