Chimgog: Alexander is dead, and Keira slept with him trying to gain access to his research. You learn this from various Letters.

That makes her a decieving whore that sleeps with mass murderers to gain personal advantages.

And when Geralt (depending on playstyle, but mostly a "force of good in the world") tries to take that away from her, she wants to murder him immediatly. No vocal protest.. no explaination what she wants to to with it, she just attacks.
Becasue she is like a little cat surrounded by hungry, vicious hounds. Have you been to Novigrad? She knows exactly what can and will happen if she does not do something. Her reaction is purely out of fear. Aleksander was not a mass murderer. He took people already suffering from Catriona. Even if I am wrong and overlooked something, do you really care about all those 'Justice and Order of the Flame' people who would sell each other for a copper? Who blindly follow orders and kill just becasue of some Eternal Flame bullshit? Or sell a compatriot for personal gains? I couldn't care less. We both saw what happened on that island. If Keira takes documents to Radowid, she is dead. Radowid alone can't do shit with the research. He already killed all the mages. No one will be stupid enough to work for him, not to mention the lack of proper talent.

If you listen to Keira and watch her face expression, you can clearly see the desperation. You can't just tell her what to do in such a situation. That paper might be her way out. If you take the way out, why are you suprised that she attacks? She might have a chance with you. Maybe a greater chance than fighting Witch Hunters and the whole Redanian army. You are only one man. Even if she loses, the death will be swift. She will not have to suffer on the pyre. Why not reason with a lady who actually is intelligent? It is easy to kill on sight and feel that justice has been served. Was it? What makes you believe she wouldn't listen? You can't take chances? On what grounds exactly? I took my chances, left her with the papers as a token of trust. She was wise enough to think about the words I said and be there in Kaer Morhen.

In other words, you killed the lady who discovered the cure to Catriona. If the disease outbreaks again in the Northern Kingdoms, thousands will die. What if the virus mutates and breaks out of control? :P

As for Yennefer. Agreed :P So many years apart and the only thing she writes in the letter is some bullshit about a Unicorn. Indeed, a nice memory for lovers. Something to remember warmly and with a boner most probably. However, is that all she has to say after all those years? Later on when you finally see her, she asks for favours out of the blue. Not even a question about how have I been.

Triss took the advantage of the amnesia. Not the best thing to do but she was at least always interested and there when you needed her.

Kind of sad that I can't be with Keira :P I actually like her most :D Lambert is a lucky guy indeed.

I killed her because I don't trust sorceresses. The risk of using that information for evil is way too high. Think about it. If you discovered what can cause the plague as well as the way to cure it, would you not use it on your enemies? This is war time. If she plead to Radovid to return her to power, she'll use it as leverage. They would then use that information to cause deaths in the Nilfgaardian army to win the war. Remember, Radovid is a power hungry man. He'll do anything to win that war, no matter the casualties.

There was never any mention of a cure, how could I have known? Maybe she should have mentioned that before attacking?

Let me clarify.. I -do not- load savegames to see the other options, I did not play the scorned lover but I told her (and there is no desperation, just arroganc ein her voice at the beginning of the scene) that I dont like two-faced serpents. From there the Dialogue leads to combat with no indication that she needs the notes for protection or that her intentions are to cure people. In my game she was an arrogant spoiled girl that tried to murder Geralt of Rivia because she ran out of arguments. ^_^

When you talk to her she mentions a cure. You can read notes found in the tower for cure information. You can clearly see that she is not really evil :P She is just a spoilt nympho :D

Locomotive, agreed but you miss my point. She will not do anything since Radowid is well known for hate for everything that is not human and magical. Anyhow, guys...you just killed the only cure to Catriona the world ever had :P I hope you are happy with your choices :D
Well I'am sure after I feed the emperor to some drowners and rebuild temeria, some talented mage will find the cure eventually ^_^

Or we improve hygene so the plague is not an issue anymore, worked before :D

I took the papers from her and she still found the cure for the plague after running off with Lambert.

BTW I didn't invite Triss to Kaer Morhen, felt like she was my ex-girlfriend now that I regained my memory and found Yen, so told her off the entire game. Only for Yen to invite her to Kaer Morhen.... sigh... can't catch a break.

Having all 3 sorceresses that Geralt slept with at Kaer Morhen I expected more of a cat fight to happen as well, which it didn't.
