THOSE BASTARDS KILLED VESEMIR :((((((((((((((

They actually made me cry,and there is nothing you can do to save him,I want a dlc that will let me save him, anything,Im just so broken over him dieing :(
Not what The Witcher is about. Can't save everyone, and the cost of saving Vesemir would be too high.

Deal with it.

I have deal with him trough all the books and games,he is simply a character I adore, you wouldnt get it if you didnt read the books, also Im very empathic so its easy for me to feel other peoples pain
This game will make you cry more than once. I seems it was made by masochists.
I thought it was an excellent death scene.

Honestly, I didn't like Vesemir dying any more than you did. But he did it on purpose; only reason the game is winnable is his sacrifice.
But Lambert said it best during the aftermath, he shouldn't have gone out that way. "he died like a louse, crushed."

The real bummer in the Battle of Kaer Morhen, is Vigi. He doesn't even get to die on-screen. It's, after the battle, the journal updates: "oh btw Vigi's ded"

I don't know what Lambert was talking about, that was a heroic death. If you're gonna die in battle, that's about as good as it gets.

I'd imagine the (in-universe) expectation was he should've gone down taking Imlerith, at least, with him.

Just like @rabidchoco said,it was just expected he would die another way,not being broken like a twig :/ also Im sad about Kaer Morhen finally being empty for good,Eskel leaves(I hope he will return one day),Lambert will also leave with Keira,Letho will stay for a while then leave as well and I just dont see Geralt doing Vesemirs job

My perception of Vesemir was that he was extremely experienced, but also extremely old. So the fact that he could do as much as he did was impressive.

I recently re read the books and based on events Vesemir witnessed he is between 600 and 700 years old :P still one of the coolest characters ever
