DocDoomII: I have the feeling many of you misinterpreted the "no invisible walls" for "the map will have no limits".
No invisible walls was meant to imply that you will not find invisible obstacles preventing you to climb a mountain, to jump over a wall, or climb whatever obstacle you want.
A lot of games have invisible limitations like these.
Like the witcher 3, for instance where If I want to jump over the wall into the officer's club (House of respite) I will clear the wall completely only to hit an invisible wall that extends over the clearly visible one. So, yes, there are a few invisible walls in this game. Crow's Perch has a few too.

shoemael: As far as invisible walls go there are those too. Go to Oxenfurt and try to get into the University. You can climb up on the rooftops above the guards. There's an invisible barrier that blocks you from crossing the roof peaks. You can see inside the courtyard and the whole area is well within the playable game world, you're just blocked out. Why they didn't let you go in there and just find all locked doors I have no idea.
I found that as well.

There are quite a lot of invisible walls throughout the game. For me, it's not dreadful, but I do find it disappointing. Maybe it's inevitable with a game so big. I did go roof jumping to see what I could find :o) and it was pointless. Movement just doesn't allow it, many things can't be pulled up onto and there were rooves where it was possible to fall though the texture into non rendered spaces, so I gave up. There was nothing to find anyway.

I found many invisible walls outside of towns as well.
Yeah, this vid show how much sometimes these walls ruin the adventure

You can actually get over that mountain if you start climbing just left of the locked door, make it to the top of the entrance, and then roll to the right to the clearing. There's a gap in the invisible wall you can get through. Their way works too, but I can get through there in less than a minute of trying that way.

The stupid thing is that nothing's there except for some loot. I don't know why they bothered to put all those invisible walls there if you can't do anything. You can't even get a sequence break when you visit there later because you need the key for the cutscene to trigger and allow you to progress.

No, it's not a mod. This icons show what's in your equipment is broken (less then 50%)

Probably because they want to develope that area for the first expansion, Hearts of Stone.

Good to know-I have never seen it-is there an option to turn it on or it shows up automatically when your equipment goes below 50%?

You can turn it off in the menu even if your equipment is below 50%
