Did you install the patch manually and try to run the game directly from .exe?

looks like the patch cannot find the install path. Did you at any point install the game / pre-load and then moved it manually to different folder?

markodemi: yes i did it downloaded on my ssd and i moved it to a 2nd hdd, should i uninstall and redownload directly to the 2nd hdd
This would certainly work, or you can receive crash course in editing Windows Registry and change the keys posted by the user several posts above ;)
