Is my assumption correct: CD Project Red put interests of console players above PC users?
Why don't release game on same day?

Chill eraser74 - he is partially right. Although they officially release the game for all platforms on the same date, the indirectly mess this up by allowing PS4 gamers to download the 1.01 gameplay patch already today while PC cannot. Therefore PS4 can play / PC needs to wait. Fair? Obviously not.....

I think this is because the patch mechanism of consoles work differently than that of a pc. On console the patch has to go through certification and to have that patch out on release day, they have to give them the patch earlier so that it can pass that.

It has NOTHING to do with CDP Red putting consoles above pc.....that´s just crazy talk and quite stupid.

Why so offensive? You could simply use the same reply from your own post. Besides he has a point. If you're not investigating the issue, it looks like CDPR has dumped PC players. I think we need to wait for official note from CDPR on this matter.

Because it get´s out of hand. There are already different threads demanding the game to be released earlier, which it won´t, as has been stated by CDP Red and GOG.

What, the game is being released on the same day, the people playing the game are big youtubers/livestreamers and they can only play it on the console because they have been given a copy where as on PC the game unlocks on a certain day. They chose famous lets players and livestreamers etc so they can spread the game and get more sales.

I have a hard PC copy here which I have fully installed // missing is the day-one patch to finalise this as this cannot be downloaded yet on PC. PS4 download is however already available even it should not be.....

Wait, even if you give the final version to a small bunch of people, it's still a release, is it not? Or are you saying they have not a full game in their hands?

They do have the full game in their hands, i'm not saying that they don't, but they're not aloud to go past a certain point of the game footage wise, and like I said CDPR have only done this to make sure people see the game and think "This looks awesome, i'm gonna buy this game" = more money. And like I said it's only a small amount of people have the game, so it's not really a release.

There've been so many trailers and in-game footage so everyone has seen a lot. Releasing prior to the promised day just raises a lot of "sold souls" talks.
