Im not overly good with computers but..

Ive got an alienware laptop, 32gb ram with a core i7-4910mq @ 2.90ghz and had it overclocked up to like 4.2 or something i think it was. Graphics card is a radeon r9 m290x.

Shouldnt i be able to play this with ease?

Ive tried every single graphics setting and none of them make a single difference

Would appreciate any help, thanks.

Start with defragging hard drive and making sure the swap file isn't being used too much.

Also, "rediculous" spelling.
Swap file isnt been used too much?

Apologies for the spelling mistake, im in a ridiculous mood.
I don't know about your specific setup, but there are several items:

* Laptops in general have issues with (a) data transfer and (b) temperature.
* If your laptop has a dual graphic chip setup, check which one is actually being used here.

The data transfer issues are mostly related to texture data. Since your GPU doesn't use "shared memory" (good), you can try reducing texture details, see whether that has any impact.

The other thing you should really watch out for is heat. Both CPU and GPU are automatically slowed down when they get too hot, which then makes games stutter and lag. Check temperature of your system components with software like speccy or such.

Finally, a link to the tweaking guide by CDPR: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/36088-A-compendium-of-tweaks-and-fixes-for-the-PC-version?p=1658887#post1658887

I hope this helps in some way.
