I'm having a rather interesting and game breaking bug. I noticed it when I opened to the menu. When I moved my mouse, the firing burning in the background and Geralt would stop moving, and then when I stopped moving my mouse, they would move again, as if it was waiting to stop receiving inputs from my mouse. This is with Hardware Mouse enabled. With it disabled, it does the same thing, except now the mouse cursor won't move as well, and when I stop using the mouse, only then will the cursor follow the path that I just drew. This goes beyond the menus, and will occur even in game, making it impossible to do, well, anything. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm really at a loss here.

Have you tried the very first thing you should try in situations like this: a simple reboot?

I feel like I should come up with something snappy to respond, but I just can't think of anything.

Yes, I did. I fact the very first thing I did was boot my computer before I even started playing.

Why?

Again, I'm not psychic: have you tried altering the mouse sensitivity in options?

No difference. I would like to note that inputs on the keyboard do not cause any delay or issue. It seems like the game quickly speeds up to catch up to my mouse inputs. It's bizarre.

And the reason I say that is because restarting the computer should be second nature to people before they ask for tech help. But I suppose it's the same thing I ask folks at work when they ask for my help, so fair is fair.
Whelp, found the issue. It was the GOG Galaxy's game overlay. Fantastic. Either way, it's fixed. Thanks Hickory for taking some time to help me out, though.

No problem. I'm just glad you managed to sort it out.
