Hey,

I just bought Witcher 3 in euros and Germany. But I didn't get any credit even though I should have according to the Fair Price Package.

Store credit should show up in the check out page, right? I added a game and tried checking out and saw nothing that would indicate that I have store credit.

Am I missing something?

I thought that the fair price package only applied to products that don't have regional pricing.

I'm not sure what you mean but it's basically there to prevent flat pricing. "Because $1 is not €1".
I saw people who pre-ordered Witcher 3 and got 2 $5.99 codes ($12) for this was before store credits where implemented.
And according to this news, Witcher 3 does support Fair Price Package: http://www.gog.com/news/getting_back_to_our_roots
Yup it does grant your store credit, i bought both the game and expansion packs and it gave me enough store credit to buy IWD:EE

Cool, where can I see it? cause there's nothing on the checkout page...
Now that you make me notice, I haven't received any store credit as well... and as I can see, only the expansion pass has the fair price package (1.40€ in Italy), not the game itself...

Yep, I just noticed the expansions says €1.40 for me as well but not the main game! How is this "Fair Price Packaging"? The game is like $38 in US or Canada if I'm not mistaken but it's $50 (€43.79) for us!

I think that if it's not mentioned on the store page, it doesn't have a fair price package, and the price may vary depending on region... I don't know... this is strange, for GOG... it's like we've been screwed

Agreed, it certainly doesn't feel good.
I sent a support ticket last night, hopefully we'll get a straight answer.

This is the first game I bought on GOG because I wanted to support CDPR and being DRM Free.
It is showing a store credit for me in the UK so it seems something isn't quite right for those buying in Euros.
I just received a reply from GOG support:

"Hello

The Fair Price Package is calculated based on the price for "The Rest of the World", which is higher than the price you paid.

Regards"

Anyone know exactly how much this price of "The Rest of the World" (ROW, or basically region free) is?
$60 I guess?

I guess they are counting the discounted price as the base price which is lower than $60...
This is very misleading!
I don't know how much the rest of the world has paid for this game but I think this means we've not been screwed, since we paid less than other countries (I think the ones that use the american dollar as currency) and we also got Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition (worth 9.50€) for free.
That's fair to me ;)
The Witcher 3 prices haven't changed, but Euros value against US Dollar has dropped in 6 months from 1.40 to around 1.10.

If you had pre-ordered back then, you'd have gotten credit. Now our Euros are worth less and thus we don't get the credit.

The US does not list the VAT in store prices because they vary depending on the state you live in. In Europe most prices are calculated and shown including VAT (e.g. in Germany 19%). This might be the reason why the prices in Europe appear to be higher, although GoG is receiving the same amount of money for each sale (after adjusting for changes in exchange rates via the FPP).
I got £6.50 back when i pre orderd at £36.49 since then the cash back in store credit ahas fallen to £4.50 or something global markets change but i though it was bases on region pricing being more then what the game cost in the Euro zone.
