I think this game uses a temporal AA technique, but sometimes those can be used with MSAA... the game just has AA On/Off.

Does anyone know if MFAA does anything to Witcher 3?

Why don't you just try it? If you cannot see the difference yourself it doesn't make a difference, does it?
