Since 1.05 hit, I've had much longer loading times. About 3 to 4 times as long.

I think I found the culprit, or at least a clue as to why this is happening. My loading times are MUCH faster (same as old loading speed in 1.04) when my XBox 360 wireless controller is on (or when disabled or uninstalled, but less so than being on). For instance:

controller enabled and ON ~ 16 secs
controller enabled but OFF ~ 55 secs
disabled or uninstalled via device manager ~ 30 secs

I even tried uninstalling the device and reinstalling using the drivers given online, but the same loading time anomaly occurs, consistently. It especially hangs during the first part of the loading process.

Has anyone else experienced this, or could maybe try this and report back?

I cant belive that, beacuse it doesnt make any sense to me but... You are right. After 1.5 PC patch my save load times went to 40-50seconds every time I run the game or load after death. Only travelling from skellige/velen time are normal every manual loading is taking like forever. Before patch it was like 6-8sec on SSD. I'm using mod that skip 'story teller' so its making it load faster as well.

I tried EVERYTHING in search for the fix, reinstall, config tweaks, different settings bla bla bla, I wasted like 10hours trying to deal with that 'issue'.
I just read Your post 10min ago, and still I cant belive that worked perfectly. Running Better DS3 + BT connected DS3 pad fixed loading time, now its taking again few seconds [6-10].

I dont even want to know how this is even possible and how it might be related, specially when i NEVER used pad in TW3. Last time I've used that pad for MKX was 2months ago. Since then never turned pad or software. And for sure TW3 never 'saw' it running.

All what I can do now is congratulate CDPR and their 'patches'. You are making impossible things to get real. Respect.

Good to know it wasn't just me! Glad to hear it's working for you better too :)
Hopefully this info will help them fix things faster for 1.06.

Can you tell me how to tunr Controller OFF? I have never used controller with Any game but I have still loading times issues. minute instead of 15 sec..... Should I do it in Windows??

Please report it to the CDPR mail adresse so that they get aware of it and be able to patch it, they won't read it here I guess. :)

Before 1.05 I could press Space for example and it would skip the annoying loading movie It was almost instantaneous. Now I have to wait through it...

Good idea! I submitted this solution/problem through their support system on the website here. I didn't quickly find just an email to send it to like you had suggested. I think the submission through their official support system will be good, they even send email confirmations and requests for more info through it. I have a feeling this would be an easy fix if it only has to do with presence or absence of input devices.

Just keep tapping space and it will skip the cutscene once loading is done in the background. My loading times are pretty quick.

You're probably drawing the wrong conclusion. Loading takes longer for me with every subsequend load. It doesn't matter if I change anything between load commands. It also becomes increasingly unstable, eventually crashing to the desktop after about 3 times.

Load screens are longer since 1.05 because for some retarded reason someone at CDP chose to not allow skipping them any more. Glorious Console load times on an SSD? Check, CDP>SSD wins.

It seems I´m one of the lucky guys, because my loadingtimes are fast as before and also skipping the intros works with space. And I´m using hdd`s, no need for ssd´s.

I don't get what's going on but my load times went back to normal a few days ago. Skipping with space works now.
