Out of all the nvidia ini tweaks and graphical tweaks I've messed with, oddly enough this has been the best one I've found so far.

Now I know this sounds insane, but believe it or not I don't think this game was intended to be played with higher than 30fps. At 48-55fps on my gtx 980 overclocked with ultra settings I notice extreme camera lurching problems when moving around.

The only way I can describe the issue when you play with more than 30fps is that it acts like fps hitching/stuttering is occurring and the movement just feels really sluggish. It's like the camera itself can't properly tether itself smoothly to geralt when the FPS is over 30. It makes the game feel extremely sluggish. It's almost like the opposite of how 30 fps SHOULD feel compared to 50fps. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

So I was messing around and just for the sake of testing it, I had locked the framerate to 30 which is available in the video options, to see what would happen. Bam, every single movement and sluggish issue that I was having at 48-50fps completely vanished. It almost felt like I was playing at 60 fps after I did this, I kid you not, it is totally bizarre. I do not think this game was properly configured for higher framerates.

Like I said, I know this sounds ridiculous, but it actually works. Try it out and let me know. I was shockingly surprised when I did it.

hm my thread went invisible or something.

I'll give it a shot when I get back to playing.
Yep! The camera feels weird at 60FPS. I have it locked at 30FPS and it's a little better. I hate the strange weight controls, turn speed and camera positioning. It's uncomfortable to play. If only the crashing stopped I might be able to get into it.

Problem is if your using a g-sync monitor (like me), 30fps is awful :/

I have this issue sometimes using the ingame vert sync option. that goes away when i force vert synch through my graphics card instead of the option menu...
yep i noticed the same problem.. that reminds me dragon age inquisition limits kinda, all because of consoles.
If you are having these issues with mouse and keyboard go under graphics and enable hardware cursor.
That's because of FPS fluctuations. No need to lock to 30. If you have a good graphic card, lock it to 50 or even 60 using nvidia inspector, for example.

Same problem here, GTX780 @ 1260Mhz and it gets choppy all the time, smooth, choppy, smooth. If I lock it at 30fps its all smooth 30fps can be.

BTW how do you perform screenshots? There's no key binding and print screen doesnt work.
