Hi everyone,

As the title says.

However there IS a caveat:

When I go the Changelog..........1.12 changelog notes appear!

Please help me with the bizarre behavior.

I bought the 5 disc pc game and had to download the GOG galaxy beta.

I suggest you don't use Galaxy, unless you are adamant about it. As you noted, it is still in Beta.

Just follow the directions to redeem on GOG and download the Game parts from your GOG account, the latest update (1.12, although 1.20 is due in the next few days) and the DLC package. Place them all in a directory and install from there. That way you will have the most updated game and DLC's.

If you bought the Expansions - install them after you have installed the game, latest patch and DLC package.

[edit] - One other tip - when installing the game, if it seems like it hangs or becomes "unresponsive" - just wait. It will finish.

Oh, and you have to "buy" the DLC package, to get it added to your account, even though it is free...

Absolutely not mandatory.

After install, you should have a shortcut on your desktop. If not, just make one from the executable file in the GOG directory. in W7 it should be at C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64\witcher3.exe Ensure you are running as an Administrator account.

The issue with the physical discs is that they are typically from the original release, so the files are out of date. That's why my suggestion is to download the latest version from your GOG account.

Hi again,

Shortcut made..........GOG galaxy beta removed...........The game still shows 1.02 in game but the changelog has 1.12 notes.....

Recommendations?

You must have installed from the Cd's, not from the files downloaded from your GOG account.

\Have you redeemed your CD key on GOG so that the game shows up in your account?

Oh nooo.....I didn't!

No wonder.

How do I do that?

I have the game installed and also have the DLC too but no...No key was redeemed.

Update......
I just plugged the Key code in and it's saying I don't have the base game!

I bought this game from amazon.com

It's saying that the keycode was used already............That rat that sold this to me
used the game and then tried to sell it to me.

Amazon is getting this back.............I suspected something was wrong when this
"new" game came opened and a "Used game" sticker was pasted in the back.

Hi sir,

Yes and it said that the keycode was used!!!!!!! No base game was found.

The game came without plastic wrapping but the discs and manuala and even stickers were fine.

This rat tried to pull a fast one man.........dishonest.
