Hello there!

I think i am not the only one with the problem that i NEVER have enough storage in my bag, even with the + 100 Sattle Bags for the Horse!!
You have to farm Materials for potions, for crafting armors or for Bombs and they have also much waight if you have some of every sort and you couldnt drop them away because youll never know what you need next ... thats so anoying ....
On the other side i am (and surely much people too) a Rare Items farmer and when you are in that position ... you have lost the Game and its really UNPLAYABLE! I cant do 5 minutes quest because i am permanently overloaded!
The other thing is the Witcher Armors that you shouldnt drop away because you need everytime the old version for upgrading!

Then you have food, drinking, TONS of Books and letters and quest items even have waight!

I thaught CDPR has learned from the past and implement a Bank Box in Novigrad or something what would be cool and imersive!

And i dont think about to drop every "old" Relict Armors and Weapons away!

If we dont get a Storage Box i cant go forward in the Game -.-

I hope there are some plans about a Storage Box in the Future or i have to quit the game because have no fun running every 5 minutes to a vendor to sell something and got 10 waight free in my bag again only for the next 10 meters ...

Feel free to comment if you have the same troubles or informations about planning or not planning for a stash chest!

Greetings

im also a farmer and i don't need a chest at all.
Once you get some better saddlebags you will always have enough space for crafting ingredients and stuff like that.
Any any sword that is not a witcher gear isn't worth keeping anyways, same goes for armor, gloves, etc.

However i sold all the books of course, why keep them once read?
Especially the notes, etc.
they only make the inventory messy.

Why do you keep your old relic armors?

I'm about 50 hours into the game. I drop little packets of unneeded items that I don't want to sell right on the ground just behind the merchant by the bridge in White Orchard. I pop back there when needed to update my stashes there. Nothing has gone missing or disappeared so far.

Just a warning - I've seen people say that they have had things disappear randomly using that method.
Let's do a little forward thinking here. I know most people love hoarding, but what is it that you really going to use out of all that shit you have been tucking in your bags since you were level 1? That's right, fuck all.

So what you do is, except for really rare crafting materials, you can simply sell everything to whatever merchant pays the most. You will have tons of coin lying around very early on and chances that you will ever need any one of the mats you sold is minimal. If you still need something you sold, you simply buy it back. Not that you need to have 50k crowns by the time you finish the game now, would you?
why not keeping old relicts ? if you like the style and love farming such "uniques" then you need more space and in ANY other Witcher Game there was a storage chest! Why not here ??
And i have the sattle Bag with 100 storage and its NOT enough! i am always full and yes i sell the books and notes but they are not the biggest problem ...
BTW it will get more chaotic if there will get more inventory places and you will carry everything with you ... this is silly at all and its not really immersive ...

There is a Bank in Novigrad ... why there is no Bankbox for the Witcher ?

BTW ... there is a difference between usefully armor and weapons and style relict armor and weapons ... and i dont understand why i have to sell my hard earned items only because i have no space in my bags ...
Simple solution. Separate tab in the inventory for a secret, hoarding stash. Stash would be the horse. You have a horse chest stash that follows you around. Simple, effective. At least in my opinion. Bank deposits? yup, why not. Chests in taverns etc? Not really realistic. In Witcher 2 you had a chest because you travelled with a company of soldiers that rented a place. Here you do not have that luxury. Just convert the horse into a stash with a separate tab accessible only from the horse and it should do the trick.

Remember guys that the storage chest in Witcher 2 became available only on the Enhanced Edition.
You'll collect a lot of junk that has no purpose other than to be sold or dismantled into crafting components. They usually weigh 3-4 times more than the components they're broken down into. So make sure you dismantle all of those items whenever you get the chance. I also have a strict limit of no more than 10 of any one item. When I'm out in the field I pick up EVERYTHING. But, when I return to a merchant I look at everything in my inventory and anything I have more than 10 of I sell or dismantle down to my limit.

But, yes. This game should also have a stash(I like the idea of Roach for this) and custom tabs in the inventory that can be renamed and will hold any item you move to it.
dont be mad on me ... but why the hell i must sell my relicts only in case CDPR was not able to give us a storage chest like in the other 2 games ?
what i do, or not do with the relicts or uniques i find and if or if not they are usefull should be in my opinion not in the opinion of lack of space in my backpack/Horsepack or am i wrong ?

and i am playing also 60 hours + and i know what i could sell but on mats i am not sure because the need could change on what recipes i will find ....

and the "Witcher" Armors are cool so far but you have 3 different witcher armor sets, with weapons and you should let them in your backpack because for updating ... if you havent see it... they are verry "heavy" !

this is one of the many problems i have with my maximum 160 waights backpack ... its not enough for me!!!
Just giving my opinion on the matter, but I too hate how there is no bank. I did this thing in Witcher 2 where I collected all the armors that I could and took over a hundred screen shots of all the armors in the game. Yes, I did collect them all, not joking. Don't even remember how many hours I sunk into arm wrestling.

In Witcher 3, I started to collect unique armors just because of their style but soon after learning there isn't a single real bank in Witcher 3, I sold them. This game needs a bank to deposite items you want. CDPR even made a big deal about adding storage boxes in Witcher 2, that I thought people were mistaken when they told me there was no storage bank in Witcher 3.

I mean, a large open world RPG with dozens of weapons and armors to collect and yet there isn't a bank?

Nice joke guys hahaha, real funny.

......Guys.
