Lobuno: GOG's Galaxy is perfectly able to delete any file in game folder, thinking otherwise is very naive.

Fenixp: Yes. It is. GOG patcher for Witcher 3 didn't tho. And what is slightly insane is thinking that because GOG staff made a single mistake while creating a patcher for W3, it automatically means that they're implementing some new form of DRM.
I hope you realized I was being sarcastic...

Nope, but thank you. You wouldn't believe what kind of schemes people imagined throughout the years on GOG boards...
Non-galaxy user here but downloaded the game using the old gog downloader and patched it to the latest version. No significant graphical error and game breaking progression issue experienced yet. No mods by the way.

Again for those individuals experiencing bugs please submit a clean save (no mods!) to the proper technical support portal so that you can help yourself and the community.

Hi, since you are not experiencing any issue AND you don't have a clue about what we are talking here, I kindly beg you to leave, please.

This is a free forum. You don't get to decide who posts where or what. How about backing off?

I rarely venture these forums, yet you I see, you basically live here, and you offer no help, no reasonable discussion, instead all you do is shill and spam. You're really annoying and I am quite sure I am not the only one that thinks this way.

That's right, so don't offer opinions on issues you know absolutely nothing about, dullard.

Yeah, but you're undermining the credibility of the problem and its fixes by stirring up controversy like this.

To the doubters: the issue of the leftover junk files is real, and the manual fixes resolve the problems such as incorrect skill descriptions. It may not be universal but there are many of us who have had these problems, and it's not the fault of user error or mods. I'd also encourage those who quickly say "everything's fine" to take a closer look at the problems actually being attributed to these junk files (incorrect General Skill descriptions are a common offender), and seeing if they affect your game, and also checking if the guilty files are present in your patch0 folder.

All you bring to this forum is raw autism. I don't know if it's inbreeding or something else, but you're really annoying.

Edit: Or, you're just a lifeless loser...

I truly repect your opinion, but don't agree. I think the issue gets more attention adding a bit of humour. Reading the thread and the link I posted also makes clear the issues/bugs are real and serious.

Thanks for posting though.

Feisty eh? I've seen issues with pirated version of Witcher 3 maybe you're one of them no?

Did you submit your savegame? Mods are generally not supported. If you're having a bad day because of third-party mods don't expect relevant support haha.

Ask mod devs instead.

^^ Hi, as I already told you, you don't know a thing about what we are talking here. Thanks for your "help" but it's not needed anymore. Thanks.
