Hmm,
I cannot import my gamesaves from W2. Anybody with the same issue?
I'll try some saves off the Internet maybe...
EDIT: saves from nexusmods.com do not work either... :<

Worked fine for me - did you get an error message, or did it just not find any saves (if it's the second, it may be looking in a different place for your saves to the place you have them).
I've managed to import the save. The error occurs if the folder in C:\users\ with your username contains diacritics (in my case, Polish letter ł). I've created another plain-named user, imported the save after launching the game on that user, and moving the gamesaves folder back to the original user's Documents folder.

It's the third game this year that has an issue with that thing, one was GTA V, other was Hotline Miami 2.
My saved game import worked perfectly. I originally had bought it on steam but had issues with the cloud saves, so I put the key on GOG and redownloaded it and started playing local copies and it imported fine. Im betting its expecting the save games in the location that it thinks is there, C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Witcher 2\gamesaves.... try that.
I also have problem with import save from Witcher 2. I saw them in game, but they can´t be used. Could it be diacritic like in GTAV? Will there be patch for it?
Seriously?! After taking few extra months of developement to root out the bugs POLISH developer didn't think to take special characters into account. OH, COME, ON!!

Well, just think about eg. Russian gamers, they could be screwed even more in regard to weird characters in usernames...
Some devs just cannot into unicode and insist on using outdated programming libraries.
