I just bought Witcher III GOTY edition today and I played for a couple of hours and died. I manually saved my game along the way a couple of times but when I restart, I can not find the option to start where I left off. Help! I don't want to keep starting from the beginning each time! Thank you for any help you can give me.

go into settings and reduce the auto save time all the way down to 3 minute intervals

By saying that, you "can not find the option to start where I left off", you mean that your saved games are missing?

Thank you and everyone else who helped me solve this. It turns out that my anti-virus software was blocking the saves. I had to give it permission.
