hey guys i have a question
i bought the witcher 3 from gog but i got it in steam as a gift from someone
can i get my saves from gog to steam for example (swords, quests, armors,etc)

I've never tried it, so I can't say it will work for sure, but The Witcher 3 game saves are created in your documents by the game, NOT by Steam or GOG. Provided you have the exact same content (DLC / expansions, etc.) in both it should work.

Hickory: I've never tried it, so I can't say it will work for sure, but The Witcher 3 game saves are created in your documents by the game, NOT by Steam or GOG. Provided you have the exact same content (DLC / expansions, etc.) in both it should work.
not really , i wanna buy the game of the year edition so you think it will work?
