skadumdums: After not being able to preload the game via the Gog Galaxy app due to a "server error", I am now attempting to download it via the GoG website but it keeps asking me for a Witcher installer file. I am not sure where to find this file or why the server error keeps happening. This will be the first game I am trying to download via the Gog company and so far I am convinced it will be the last.
You need to download all 7 parts before running the setup.
GOG Downloader will download all 7 parts, you will only need to download the 1.01 patch manually. Separate links are for those who would prefer to DL through a browser.

So, if you used Downloader, do you have all seven files (1x .exe and 6x .bin) in one folder? Or is the download still running?

skadumdums: Downloader is still running it says it is downloading the Witcher 3 Wild hunt installer and patch 1.01. But the file size is only 21.95gb.
Then let it finish before trying to install the game ;)

skadumdums: Wait. So do i Have to download the other files after this installer downloads?
Once the downloader finishes, you will see all installation files in one folder. no need to download the others. Like I wrote before, separate download links are for those, who would prefer to not use the GOG Downloader.

green.anger: Manually? What about this link. You can also feed it to Downloader.
I was wrong. Looks like Downloader grabs both installer and relevant patches by default.
