Let me guess - you pre-downloaded TW3 into the folder of Galaxy Client app installation?

DarkMelchiah: Btw, if I decide to sync again I believe the same thing will not happen again, now that the game is in another place. Am I right?
No it should not. The GalaxyUpdater simply over-zealosuly removes all files, caches and any trash inside the GalaxyClient installation folder during the update. Thats why you lost the game during update. We will fix it in 1.0.2.

The worst thing that game import can do is cause you to download differences between standalone version coming from game Downloader and game downloaded using Galaxy. But there should be no differences between them.

green.anger: Do you mean Galaxy will verify files like Downloader does before downloading and not blindly overwrite them?
I was specifically discussing a case where TW3 installation folder was located inside the folder where Galaxy Client is installed. During auto-update of Galaxy all unknown files in Galaxy folder were removed, meaning games were also affected.

For every other scenario where games are stored separately, Galaxy should verify files stored in a game install folder and compare them with the latest version of the game available in the Galaxy Content System. If the file is identical it will not be overwritten. If the file is unknown it will be left untouched. I've actually made a test with importing an existing folder with random files as a specific game... all the unknown files untouched and existing files were left alone because they were the same.

green.anger: Hm, I was pretty sure if you clicked "Install" button Galaxy would re-download files. At least it was true for extras, there was a report in Mantis. And it's true for installers (yes, I separate them even though they're in the same section in Galaxy). I need to test it again. What files should I delete/modify in the game folder so that Galaxy could forget about the game and make "Install" button active again? Or maybe some modifications in registry is needed? I'm on Win 7 x64.
I'm not sure what exactly are you trying to achieve, but since your initial question was "Do you mean Galaxy will verify files like Downloader does before downloading..." then this is the case if you import the game folder using MORE -> MANAGE -> IMPORT FOLDER option. If you click INSTALL game will always install from the scratch because Galaxy is not aware of its existence of your disk.

As for removing game from sidebar without uninstalling it - the fastest way to do it would be to close the Client, rename the folder with said game installation, and restart Galaxy... This way it should disappear from the sidebar (once it happens you can - and should - rename the game back, to avoid breaking something with the installation if there are any references to it in the registry and whatnot).
