Hellos,

If I download the individual parts off my account page will it work with the galaxy client (for achievements and stuff)? Or are the two separate versions?

Yes, after downloading and installing the game go into GOG Galaxy and find the game in your library then left click- More - Manage - Import Folder then simply tell it where the files are located.
