I don't know how it was before the patch 1.07 but now i just can't start the quest, cannot start to talk to Vernon Roche.
Does any one know maybe how to fix it please?

It's been the same since v1.05 apparently - I'm stuck there too. Right now I'm re-applying the patch but I'm doubtful it will work. The reason is that (like me) you will have explored the cave earlier in your game. This means that the cutscene as you appraoch the cave doesnot play. I've been looking for a fix for it all day but got nothing. Some people say that the last patch (1.07) has fixed it for them, but mine is still bugged.

You can still do everything else, just can't finish the game.

I did that quest just a few hours ago, and I've been to the cave before with v1.05. I had no problem in 1.07 and it played the same cutscene again.

Yes, as I said, not everyone is having this issue but there are quite a few. However, for us there is currently no fix and we cannot progress.

This is annoying...
i stoped playing the game as soon as i knew about the 1.07 patch so i could enjoy it more without the bugs and other improvement :(
i hope that CDProject fix it as soon as possible

Have the same problem with 1.07 as OP.

Still not working after all this time....
Tried many other things around the web & forums without any luck.
I stoped playing at this point because i am afraid to progress and waste my time knowing that this bug is not fixed.
