I usually play by clicking my desktop icon, which points to the exe, but since upgrading to 1.12, I can only play launching through Galaxy, because the savegames won't load otherwise. When I click on the desktop icon, I get version 1.11, when using Galaxy, I get 1.12. What gives? Does galaxy use a different path to launch the game? How do I fix this? Thanks!

Uninstall Galaxy and update your game manually. It's a buggy mess beta release anyway.
