I am playing Ciri in Breakneck speed. I understand I should be using BLINK to avoid the overwhelming attacks and get to the goal. However, When I press BLINK, I can not control her movements. Sometimes she stays in the same spot. Sometimes she moves backwards and forwards several times (usually doing a lot of damage to foes), but I can't get her to race past the bad guys, and ALWAYS end up dying.

I am on xobx one.

Any suggestions? I am sure I am doing something wrong here.

from what you have explained it sounds like you are using the charge attack, the longer you charge the attack for the more attacks you will perform if you have no stamina points Ciri won't move when you try to perform this move.

Anyway to Blink when playing as Ciri while you are in combat press the dodge button to blink a short distance & press the roll button to blink a long distance. You can control the direction you want to blink by holding a direction before pressing the roll/dodge button.
