SlyGamer79: still no luck installing it, its giving me the same damn message

Zenocrates: I had same problem and was sent the following email:

Hello
You can download the game using the Galaxy Client:
http://www.gog.com/galaxy
Also you have three other options besides installing with Galaxy:
1) Downloading the installation files with Galaxy. Installation files use a different delivery method, and are usually smaller than the files downloaded during "installation". To do this, find the game in your Library in GOG Galaxy, and click MORE -> DOWNLOAD EXTRAS, then click the appropriate Game Installer file,
2) Using the GOG Downloader. You can find it here: https://www.gog.com/downloader . Once downloaded and installed, please find your game on gog.com in your library, and click MORE -> GOG DOWNLOADER LINKS,
3) Downloading with your browser - this isn't very recommended, as it offers no pausing/resuming, and no error protection.

First thing I noticed was he said three reasons besides Galaxy...but the first way WAS with Galaxy?? Did I miss something?
Second using the GOG Downloader: so I get the downloader and log in but then what? I have no idea how to use it...anyone have help with this?
Third method wasn't recommended...but was suggested? Common...really? Why'd he suggest something but then say it's not a good idea so to speak...

If anyone can figure out this email (and my issue is the exact same as the initial post) let us know..
I've done it manually & galaxy and i still don't get it installed
this has pissed me off beyond normal standards because my entire day i've been downloading files, changing them to .rare and everything suggested and IT DOESN'T FRIGGIN WORK ! >_<

SlyGamer79: when i try part 1 of 7 it says i don't have any files installed

setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_2.0.0.28 (1)-1.bin
file not found
check the file name and try again

but then i see installation cannot proceed without the required file

do you want to cancel ?

but i look and it says installing please wait with a rather long install time.

Jodirte: Just FYI, I have never used GOG and had this problem - went back out of the GOG site and downloaded the GOG BETA site- after logging back in using the BETA site my launcher is different and just has INSTALL next to the Witcher 3 title and downloaded fine. Basically I'm guessing I didn't have GOG downloaded on my computer (although I thought I did) because I was able to log in and look at my library etc.
all you have to do is install gog downloader https://www.gog.com/downloader, once thats installed go to view downloads on the website not the app, then click more, and then click gog downloader link, once there install the installer on whatever you need and the patch
that's how i've been doing it every time and i still get the error after i check integrity and it fails to install.

Can somebody just tell me if I'm supposed to DO anything with the Downloader...How does it work? What is it supposed to do? Do I have to do anything to use it or is it automatic when I get this game to finally download?
I got it to finally install and it now works. I had to manually find the "setup" in my downloads folder and double click there. Every time before I had tried to open it through my Chrome browser, which, must have been the reason it hadn't worked. Hope this helps.
