nagal: Thanks for the work around mmarci! I might just wait and see if they patch before I go this route, but I'll give it a shot if they drag their feet too long.
Props to fjdgshdkeavd, I never thought of changing the actual screen resolution myself.

Sorry, yeah meant to mention everyone that's been looking into it! Thanks fjdshdkeavd! I should have thought of that idea as well, but my TV setup is fidgety and I dare not try too much willy-nilly with it or it's hours of work to set it back to how it should work, still hoping they don't take too long to just put proper 1280x720 supported in the game.
