I started the new DLC quest. after examining the gold pot the quest log says I have to "talk to the pig" . The map marker indicates it's under the walkway but I cannot absolutely find him. Been at this for an hour and a half searching for it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try save and load at spot where he should be.This sometimes works in most games.
If it doesn't then try same thing but this time go to desktop,right out of the game and reload.

Tried reloading in both ways. Didn't work. Could you please post a screenshot showing where it's supposed to spawn?

Wayched a video walkthrogh of the quest. There was supposed to be a cutscene which didn't trigger and the pig did not spawn. At a loss as to how to solve this.

hit the escape button & then check "load game" & see if you have a "checkpoint save"(or quick/maual save) previous to starting the quest, load that save up & try again

The pig is not under the walkway, he's on it. Exactly where he was when you talked to him prior to examining the gold pot. Between it and the portal. You talk to him, walk a few steps, examine the pot, walk back to him and talk. Are you saying he disappeared?

It isn't there in the first place. watched a walkthrough video for comparison. I'll post a screenshot. Also tried to leave the cave and after fast traveling the entrance DISAPPEARS.

You need to post this in the CDP forums. If it's a discovered bug, GOG forums won't be able to help you.

There's no in-game screenshot facility. You'll need to use a third party tool, like Fraps.

Having the same exact issue myself

Edit: Reloaded the autosave before walking into the came and it loaded correctly for me.
