Okay so my issue is that I can't fully install the update (blood and wine) on gog galaxy, it downloads the 14 gb fine but when it reaches 99.9% moving it just stops there and never finishes, i have tried it 8 times now by restarting the update and so on and have waited 3+ hours for it to finish the last 0.1%. Please help me with this issue, i really want to play blood and wine and witcher 3 too. I were thinking of downloading witcher 3 trough gogs website but I think i lose all my saves then do i?

The save games aren't stored in the game's directory but in the windows user files instead, therefore you won't lose them if you reinstall the game. The uninstaller asks you if you want to keep the saves by the way.

I cannot help you with the Galaxy-issue though.

Download from your account page directly, and put the files in a seperate folder.
Meaning: whatever you do, do not use Galaxy.
If you fear for your save files (found under "documents"), simply transfer them to another directory of your choice, and copy them back to their usual place afer installation. You will not lose them.

Good luck!

If Galaxy not does some strange things to a save file - yes this would work.

Forgot: if you already have something downloaded with Galaxy, even if it is not complete: do not use Galaxy to uninstall this content!
Like I said earlier: hands off from Galaxy.
Use the normal procedures from your system to uninstall/delete, and only then install the downloaded files.

Ok so now i have removed galaxy and tried starting witcher 3 without galaxy and it works, i must have downloaded the files or something cus i have blood and wine now. Just wondering one thing, when an update comes, do i have to download it manually trough gog.com or does it say in game? Thanks for the help btw :)

To keep from any mishaps, stay with the "manual" download. There might be a time when Galaxy actually works, but this is surely not now.
You're welcome ...
